Mary Ann Evans, Ph.D., PSY 11935, is a clinical neuropsychologist with offices in Santa Barbara and Solvang, California.  She specializes in assessing and treating individuals with a variety of brain related disorders, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, toxic exposure, and developmental disorders such as autism, learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders.  She also conducts Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy with a variety of clients, including those with anxiety, depression, developmental disorders, bipolar disorder, parenting issues, personal growth and spiritual issues.  Her interest in behavioral medicine is expressed through her classes in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive therapy.  She also utilizes the trauma release therapy, EMDR.  Another main focus is the implementation of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning for individuals and groups through the “Horse Wisdom for the Soul” program, located in the Santa Ynez Valley.  She offers frequent workshops and retreats through this program for self development, spiritual enlightenment and emotional healing.
